Master Gardeners: Growing Perennial Vegetables
Thursday, October 10, 2019, 03:00pm - 04:00pm

Free lecture by Master Gardener Bruce Bennett.

There has got to be a catch! Plant a veggie once and, then, harvest it for five to twenty-five years? It’s a lazy gardener’s dream come true and is most definitely possible to do. This seminar will show you how to select the appropriate garden spot, prepare the soil and choose the right plants. In addition to discussing the most popular vegetable candidates, you will also receive an extensive list of perennial vegetables which will do well in western Washington.

(This lecture will also be held at the PT library on Oct 24th at 6:00 PM.)

Location Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave, Port Hadlock, WA, 98339
