Familiarize your eye and your tongue with a dozen or so edible and medicinal plants on this 4 hour plant amble, which includes a stop for lunch. Our focus will include common, naturalized “weeds” and native plants. We will discuss identifying characteristics, traditional use/s, and wildcrafting ethics, and delve into botanical nomenclature, Linnean taxonomy, identification of plant families, and plant propagation according to the group’s interests. No experience necessary, kids welcome if accompanied by an adult, see our ticket discount for signing up as a pair. Prior plant walk students welcome— this will be in a different location than June’s walk.
