Join Professor Wesley Cecil PhD this summer for a world tour through the history of philosophy. Beginning the evening of Tuesday, June 4th, at 6pm in the Hay Barn at Finnriver and continuing every Tuesday through the end of September, this 16 week series will cover the history of philosophy from the beginnings of civilization up until today. We will explore Western, Chinese, Indian and Mezo-American intellectual developments. Course material will be provided for each lecture and there will be time for questions and answers and for small group discussions following each lecture. Everyone is invited to join us for a weekly adventure in the history of philosophy. Suggested donation of $5, no one will be turned away. The Hay Barn is unheated so dress for all weather. Attend one, or attend all, we'd love to see you in the barn this summer!
Join us daily— 12 to 9pm— for farmcrafted hard cider on draft, cider cocktails and non-alcoholic options available in our Tap Room, and guided tastings and orchard tours on weekend afternoons. The Finnriver Kitchen is now serving seasonally-inspired, locally-sourced foods on weekdays from 3-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays 12-8pm. On weekends, we host an array of fabulous food vendors: Dented Buoy Woodfired Pizza, Hama Hama Seafood, La Crêpe de Quimper and Fiddlehead Creamery vegan ice-cream.
