First Fridays Virtual Reality for ages 13+
Experience the wonders of Virtual Reality (VR) with the support of trained staff. VR uses a computer, headset, and sensors to immerse you directly into a three-dimensional, computer-generated world. Your head, hands, and body movements are tracked to let you interact with what you see via the headset. Swim in the sea, play games, make friends with a robot, or relax with a short virtual movie. Each month we will focus on a new VR app. Visit jclibrary.librarymarket.com/events/ for details about each session.
A completed waiver form is required to participate. Parent or guardian signature on waiver form required for participants ages 13 to 18. VR experiences may cause dizziness and disorientation. Those prone to motion sickness should take care when using VR devices.
All library programs are free and open to the public.
