Become a Dementia Friend!
Join a growing movement of people like you who are helping fellow
community members who live with dementia. A little support can make a big difference in their lives.
What is the Dementia Friends initiative?
Dementia Friends is a part of a global movement working to change the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. The goal of Dementia Friends is to help community members understand dementia and the small things they can do to make a difference for people living with dementia.
In Washington State, this initiative is being led by the Dementia Action Collaborative, a voluntary private-public partnership working to implement the Washington State Plan to Address Alzheimer’s and other Dementias. Learn more here: www.dshs.wa.gov/altsa/dementia-action-collaborative
