Friday, March 15, 2019, 07:00pm - 10:30pm
Please join us on Friday, March 15th at the Elks Club in Port Townsend, 555 Otto Street, for an evening of live music made just for dancing.
At 7:00 Vickie Townsend will teach a beginning Nightclub Two-Step workshop, followed by live music at 8:00 with Tony Petrillo and the Roundabout Quintet.
Tony Petrillo is a scuba diver, oceanographer, industrial engineer, guitar player, and jazz singer. His singing is reminiscent of the crooners of the 40s. The music is smooth and jazzy in classic dance tradition; perfect for Foxtrot, Swing, Waltz and every song is a hit. Adding to Tony’s expert lead, Kurt Festinger, aka Professor Kurt, plays horns like none other, and adds his infectious rhythm to the band's energy. George Radebaugh, keyboard extraordinaire, marathon runner and funny man is a mainstay. Tom Svornich, long time expert drummer, plays percussion with crackerjack perfection, and Dirk Anderson keeps dancers hopping with his sizzling upright bass.
$12 for the entire evening, including the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN ELK'S MEMBER, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
