GENERATION ZAPPED investigates the potential dangers of exposure to microwave radiation from wireless technology.  Emerging science reveals that digital devices like cell phones, tablets, and wireless routers in the classroom create cumulative health impacts, especially for children and teens, whose still-developing bodies are most vulnerable to prolonged exposure.  Research  shows limks to breast and brain cancer, genetic mutations related to autsm and ADHD, increased infertility, and newly developed illnesses, such as electrical hypersensitivity (EHS).
This award-winning documentary shares personal stories from those directly affected. We meet four people who are struggling with a variety of illnesses from wireless radiation – a breast cancer survivor who had carried her cell phone in her bra, a long-term cell phone user with brain cancer, and a fit, seemingly healthy couple with neurological impacts now identified as being linked to wireless data transmission radiation.
Scientists, doctors, health researchers, physicians and other experts document the links and concerns about this technology.  Public health policy experts who are fighting to revise long outdated policies and safety regulations are also featured.

From 'smart' meters to a global rollout of 5G, risks from wireless technology continue to escalate despite warnings from doctors, scientists, and environmental groups worldwide.  GENERATION ZAPPED provides hope – by suggesting guidelines for how to protect and safeguard ourselves and our families against these potential dangers.
An interactive DEMONSTRATION before the film will reveal the microwave radiation we are commonly exposed to.  State-of-the-art RF and EMF meters will be on hand to identify and measure signals from cell phones and other wireless devices in the room.  The meters convert the normally invisible and silent waves into audible static—so we can hear the radiation in our midst.  They also measure the electrosmog, quantifying our exposure levels through digital displays.
DISCUSSION will follow the film.  Hear about local efforts to address wireless radiation concerns, and join the conversation!
The free community event — demonstration, film screening, and discussion — will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at the Chimacum Grange, 9572 Rhody Drive.
