More than a dozen artists will come together on Valentine’s Day to share personal stories from the heart through spoken word, music and song, dance, mime and visual art. The event, called “Heart Stories” is sponsored by a $1,500 grant from the Port Townsend Arts Commission.
“I believe audiences will come away from this event feeling uplifted and inspired and more connected to one another,” Bonnie Obremski, event organizer, said.

Centrum will provide stage, light and sound production services for this event.
Storyborne is a new, for-profit sole proprietorship founded in Port Townsend by Bonnie Obremski. The business is a platform for the expression of personal stories across all mediums. It also provides marketing and photography services for businesses and organizations looking to integrate personal storytelling into advertising and fundraising strategies.
The first edition of Storyborne magazine will be on sale at Heart Stories. Obremski is seeking submissions of visual art and writing. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, or visit Storyborne.com to complete a submission form online. Submission deadline is Jan. 29.
