A FABULOUS INTRO TO LINDY HOP! Dance lesson with Ari Levitt
Our very favorite and talented dance teacher, Ari Levitt, will be visiting from Seattle to teach this wonderful workshop!
Lindy Hop is the original style of swing dancing that was born in Harlem in 1927 and was the most popular dance form in America through the 1950’s. In the first hour, we’ll deconstruct the essential Lindy steps, and in the second hour we’ll introduce and dive more deeply into Lindy Charleston movements & variations. Come to one of the classes or both! But you’ll definitely want to take both classes to get a really good sense of how much fun and diverse this dance can be! Perfect for all levels of dancers. No partner needed.
