Join us at the Finnriver Orchard for our "Live music on the Land" series. On Saturday, November 10th we are pleased to host Correo Aereo from 5-8pm pm at our Cider Garden located on a historic farm in the Chimacum valley.
Correo Aereo (Air Mail) is an award-winning multi-instrumental and vocal Latin American/World Music duo. ?They perform gorgeous music of Latin America (mainly from traditions of Venezuela, Argentina & Mexico) as well as original compositions. Their repertoire draws from these lineages & their Indigenous American roots and the African, N. African & Sephardic diasporas. ?They honor tradition while embracing organic innovation, resulting in sumptuous music with depth, nuance, complexity and playfulness that will thrill your body, fill your heart, de-colonize your mind and make you celebrate the solidarity of all peoples everywhere who love Life! Abel Rocha and Madeleine Sosin combine a stunning array of string and percussive instruments with silken vocal harmonies described as ‘locked in carnal embrace’ by the Austin Chronicle.?Don't miss this show!
Enjoy farm-crafted cider tastings, flights, draft pours and apple brandy cocktails at the tasting room and cider garden from 12-9 pm (tastings end at 5 pm). Plan your visit here.
We also offer a range of lovely food options on Saturdays, including locally-sourced picnic items and the following food vendors:
- Finnriver house-made bratwurst and salad from 12-8 pm
- Dented Buoy Wood-fired Pizza from 12-8pm
- La Crêpe de Quimper Crepes from 12-8pm
Finnriver keeps our music events free and open to the public. To support the bands, we raise our draft pours by $1 during music events-- with added proceeds going to the musicians. Thanks for helping us celebrate the 'culture' in agriculture.
Our events are family-friendly. Please no smoking, no outside food or alcohol, and no dogs.
We hope to see you here!
