Ranger & the 'Re-Arrangers'

Seattle Gypsy jazz band Ranger and the "Re-Arrangers" evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Gypsy campsite with their unique twist on Gypsy jazz. "At the heart of their sound is Ranger Sciacca's sweet violin playing… his sense of melody and daring improvisations" (World Rhythm Webzine). The band's repertoire includes swing standards, traditional Gypsy melodies, the music of Django Reinhardt, and Ranger Sciacca's unique originals.

Ranger Sciacca -- Violin
Mike Sciacca -- Rhythm Guitar
Neil Conaty-- Bass
Jeffrey Mosse -- Percussion
Eric Vanderbilt-Mathews -- clarinet and piano

Coyle is a small, rural community at the end of the Toandos Peninsula, 14 miles south of the Hood Canal Bridge. It's a ferry ride plus an hour's drive straight west of downtown Seattle. Our pride and joy is the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center operated by the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District. It's a beautiful wood and glass structure with wonderful acoustics. Since 2009 it has become a “destination” venue for music lovers. We currently host approximately two concerts per month all year around featuring the best of folk, Americana, singer/songwriter, Appalachian, bluegrass, Celtic, blues, country and more. The room has seating for 65+ people. These concerts are for all ages and are done on a by-donation basis. We always serve complimentary cookies and coffee at intermission to our guests. See: www.coyleconcerts.com for more information.
