SoulMotion is a practice where we cultivate our capacity for listening for the deep wisdom of our body. We are invited to listen to the small, still voice singing throughout our body, to be more aware and mindful of our senses, and to increase our ability to respond with joy and aliveness to the magic and mystery inherent in life from moment to moment.
SoulMotion (our soul in motion) is an opportunity to deepen awareness and experience a body/mind/heart connection. For those new to SoulMotion, it will be a chance to experience more aliveness and awareness in stillness and movement. For all of us, it is a chance to reclaim our vitality and be more fully present to ourselves and each other. My intention is for us to have fun and play as we move alone and together (in pairs, groups, and as a whole community).
If you “think you can’t dance”, this is the class for you. No particular skills are required, just a desire to feel more in touch with yourself, to feel more alive. If you can breathe you can dance. We will move to music and sometimes to the silent song. There are no steps to follow. Instead, I offer guidance and prompts.
