The Theater Circle is an ongoing group that meets once a month. Participation includes play readings, discussions, attendance at theater productions, and the presentation of a staged reading of a play. For each month’s play reading, the facilitator will order copies of the script with the cost borne by those who will attend the session. Roles are precast (with an effort made to give everyone a chance to read a role) so that participants can become familiar with roles. Readings are followed by discussions. In April of each year, a play––selected be the facilitator––will be rehearsed and performed in early May as a staged reading. Participation is voluntary.
