Forest bathing is a delightful form of walking meditation, gently and mindfully connecting us to the natural world through actively engaging the senses. Sound, sight, smell, taste and touch can heighten our awareness of life around us. Intentionally paying attention-while walking slowly, and pausing- can help us notice so much more than walking to 'get somewhere'.
Explore the paths at Fort Worden State park with your guide, Ellen Falconer, who will offer a poem or two, and a brief guided meditation along the way.
Meet up in front of Madrona Mindbody Institute, past Taps Pub, on the left.
Hot tea after the walk will be provided, Sunday afternoon only, as an opportunity to mingle, and share insights.
Suggested donation: $5-$10. Sundays proceeds benefiting local non-profits. Thank you.
