St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites youth ages 11-15 to participate in “Water & Soul” August 5-10, 2018.
The week’s adventures will include: exploration of the Dungeness Spit in Sequim with storytelling by Karen Polinsky, author of Dungeness; learning about flora, fauna, creek life, and geocaching at HJ Carroll Park; a trip to the Elwah River; a whale watching trip to Friday Harbor; and time at the Chimacum Creek to learn about creek biology and salmon restoration from North Olympic Salmon Coalition biologists. The experiential program will begin with an introductory session and barbecue on Sunday evening, August 5, at St. Paul’s, to which participants’ family members are invited. We are asking $175, per participant, for the entire program. Scholarships are available. Deadline to register is Aug 3.
