Finnriver: Shearing and Wool Learning Opportunity
Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 02:00pm - 04:00pm

Did you know that different breeds of sheep give different qualities of wool? And that the quality of the wool determines the use of it? Come spend an hour on Wednesday afternoon at Finnriver with Charlotte and Martin Frederickson of One Straw Ranch and learn some fun and interesting facts about wool and what can be done with it. Then watch the incredible process of shearing with local shearer Elizabeth Reseager as she shears the flock of sheep at Finnriver. Touch and feel the fleeces as they come off and feel the differences for yourself! Nala will also be there to interact and say hello to everyone. Both clean processed and raw wool will be available for purchase. $10 per person, limit 25 people.

Please RSVP to Laurie McKenzie at bluepoppy1000@gmail.com to reserve your spot!
