Kathryn Claire

Kathryn Claire has spent years cultivating her own style and approach to music as a violinist, guitar player, singer, and songwriter. Strong fundamentals from her classical and traditional music background combined with improvisation has made her a favorite at venues, festivals and institutions around the world. She has toured and performed extensively in the US, Japan, India, Holland, Belgium and France.

In her latest album "Bones Will Last," musician and composer Kathryn Claire has created a unique collection of songs and instrumental compositions. With her violin and voice at the forefront, Kathryn is supported by Zak Borden on mandolin, Allen Hunter on upright bass, and Don Henson on piano.

Location Laurel B Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Rd, Quilcene, WA, 98376
Coyle is a small, rural community at the end of the Toandos Peninsula, 14 miles south of the Hood Canal Bridge. It's a ferry ride plus an hour's drive straight west of downtown Seattle. Our pride and joy is the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center operated by the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District. It's a beautiful wood and glass structure with wonderful acoustics. Since 2009 it has become a “destination” venue for music lovers. We currently host approximately two concerts per month all year around featuring the best of folk, Americana, singer/songwriter, Appalachian, bluegrass, Celtic, blues, country and more. The room has seating for 65+ people. These concerts are for all ages and are done on a by-donation basis. We always serve complimentary cookies and coffee at intermission to our guests. See: www.coyleconcerts.com for more information.
