Join us for the winter Merchant Coffee Talk: "Project Updates by Land and Sea."
Laura Parsons, Civil Engineer for the City of Port Townsend, will provide an update on the progress of the Water Street Enhancement Project, which is scheduled for completion in June, 2018. Ms. Parsons is the project manager.
Christopher Bruning, Assistant Project Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation in Port Angeles, will discuss the SR 20 Paving Project scheduled for Jefferson County in summer, 2018. This is a preservation project to improve the pavement condition and construct ADA compliant sidewalk ramps. The project begins before the 4 Corners intersection and ends at the downtown ferry terminal where it will tie in to the city's new construction.
Sam Gibboney, Executive Director for the Port of Port Townsend, will present information about the plans to replace the south jetty at Point Hudson.
The winter Merchant Coffee Talk is presented by the Port Townsend Main Street Program. The meeting moderator is Kris Nelson, the board president of the Port Townsend Main Street Program.
Admission is free for Main Street members, $5 for nonmembers.
