Port Townsend Community Center will be the site for the 27th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair on Friday, November 24th, and Saturday, November 25th. The juried fair displays fine quality handmade year round arts and crafts from local, Washington, and Oregon artists. The hours of the fair are 10am to 5pm both days. The Port Townsend Community Center is located at Lawrence and Tyler Streets in the Uptown district and the fair is occupying all three floors. This year, we have added the downstairs game room and will feature many new artists there. Access to the gym and game room is through the entrances on Lawrence street and Clay street as well as Tyler Street.
This fine quality show is staged by the Port Townsend Arts Guild, a self-supporting non-profit arts organization for more than 45 years, which offers arts scholarships to Jefferson County students majoring in the arts as well as donating to many arts related activities. The artists donate a portion of each sale to the Jefferson County Food Bank, as they have done for the past twenty six years. In 2016, $2600 was raised for the Jefferson County Food Bank.
