"Don't Forget About the I in Memoir" will help genealogists with their goal of writing their personal story or the stories of their ancestors - stories that will have readers resonating with their journey and the insights that were gained. Sheila Bender will coach us whether we write memoir as poems, vignettes, short stories, personal essays, or novel-length work.
Sheila Bender teaches at Centrum Foundation in Port Townsend as well as the Writers' Workshoppe and around the country. She has taught at colleges, universities, libraries, and community centers.
