The excitement is building for the Taste of Port Townsend coming Thursday, June 6 to the Northwest Maritime Center located at 431 Water Street in downtown Port Townsend. Guests will enjoy sumptuous tastes from local restaurants, breweries, wineries and cideries. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Eventbrite.com or at Safeway.
This year's participants are Key City Fish Co., Alchemy Bistro and Wine Bar, Aldrich's Market, The Castle in PT, Howell's Sandwich Co., Taps at the Guardhouse, Reveille at the Commons, Pane d' Amore, Banana Leaf Thai Bistro, Elevated Ice Cream Co. & Candy Shop, Silverwater Café, Finistere, The Old Whiskey Mill, Alpenfire Cider, Finnriver Farm and Cidery, Marrowstone Vineyards, Port Townsend Brewing Co., Port Townsend Vineyards, Sunrise Coffee Co., The Spice and Tea Exchange, and Discovery Bay Brewing.

Tickets purchased by June 3rd receive early entry to the event at 5 p.m. Tickets sold at the door begin at 6 p.m. (if space is available). This is a 21+ event, please bring valid ID.

The Tastes of Port Townsend is a signature fundraiser for The Port Townsend Main Street Program, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The program's mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance the historic business districts. The Port Townsend Main Street Program coordinates year-round events such as Art Wave--Children's art in the stores, Concerts on the Dock, the Uptown Street Fair, Girls' Night Out, the Downtown Trick or Treat, the Port Townsend Family Portrait Town Photo, the new Haunted Histories and Mysteries event, and the Santa Visit/Treelighting. This year, winter lighting will be a special focus. From the HUD Loan Program to restore commercial buildings in the historic districts, to hanging flower baskets, downtown gardening, and holiday decorations, Main Street works to promote the prosperity of the historic districts—Uptown and Downtown.
