Goddard College Welcomes Artist and Author Truong Tran

Visiting artist and author Truong Tran will read from his works, followed by a Q&A and reception.

Goddard College's Port Townsend educational site and the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program welcome the public to a reading, question and answer session, and reception with San Francisco based artist and author Truong Tran on Wednesday, July. 19  at 7:00 p.m. in Building 204's Reading Room at Fort Worden in Port Townsend, Washington.

is books include Placing the Accents, Dust and Conscience, The Book of Perceptions, Within the Margins, Four Letter Words, I Meant To Say Please Pass The Sugar and the children's book Going Home Coming Home. His works have been translated into Dutch, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. He has been twelve years a lecturer at SFSU and is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at Mills College, where he teaches writing workshops at the intersection of poetry and the visual arts. His latest body of exploration entitled The Book of Others will be forthcoming in 2018.

The public reading is free and open to the public.
