The QUUF Spring 2017 calendar has just announced a brand new ALPs event: TED Talk Thursdays. On those Thursday mornings participants will be invited to watch and then discuss the focus topic for that day.
If you've seen some of the 2500+ TED Talks (www.TED.com), you know these short (~18 minutes), powerful talks are indeed "Ideas worth spreading," as their tag line suggests.
The ALPs Committee decided we could be part of spreading some of these ideas, so this term we'll be offering a weekly viewing and discussion opportunity. Facilitators have chosen a topic — music, gender, environment and more — and two or three of their favorite TED Talks that we can view and discuss. The list of topics follows, but you'll find a lengthier description of each at: http://tinyurl.com/2017TEDTalkThurs
Join us in QUUF Fellowship Hall on Thursdays! No registration is required.
