Key City Public Theatre is proud to present the next in it's 2017 Concerts at the Key series, Ranger and the "Re-Arrangers."
Ranger and the "Re-Arrangers" take a decidedly European bent to the quintessential American art form, Jazz. Playing together since 2006, and inspired heavily by the work of Django Reinhardt, violinist Ranger Sciacca leads a band that evokes the warmth of a Summer night on the Seine, with technical skills forged through decades of musicianship, and the heartfelt bonds of family. Ranger is joined by his father, Michael, and friends, Dave Stewart, Mick Nicholson, and Jeffrey Moose.
"Inescapably hum-able and a toe-tap-ful." (Zach Hudson - Victory Music Review)
"Impressive because not many people can play a fiddle so well, and comforting because it's nice to know that there's a community of musicians keeping an old, storied genre alive." (Alex Young - Consequence of Sound)
Tickets are $18, and are available at the door, by phone at (360) 385-KCPT, or online at www.keycitypublictheatre.org.
