How to get to or from Victoria, B.C. to Port Angeles to Port Townsend without driving using the public bus and ferries. NOTE: If you are planning to make a daytrip to Victoria you need to check ID requirements to enter Canada.

Public transportation requires some planning....

You'll first have to figure out what ferry you'll be taking:

a. Black Ball Ferry from Victoria Phone: (360) 457-4491

b. Victoria Express Phone: (360) 452-8088

To get from Port Angeles to Port Townsend use you'll have to use a combination of the following:

1. Clallam County Transit Route #30 from the Port Angeles Transfer Station (about a block from the ferry) to Sequim Transit Center at 2nd & Cedar. (Travel time: about 35 minutes). Phone: (360) 452-4511 or (800) 858-3747.

2. Then use Jefferson Transit Route #8 from 2nd & Cedar in Sequim to the Port Townsend Park & Ride. (Travel time: about 45 minutes). Phone: (360) 385-4777 or Toll Free: (800) 371-0497.

3. From there you can get a the Jefferson Transit #11 bus to uptown/downtown or the #12 bus to Fort Worden. Phone: (360) 385-4777 or Toll Free: (800) 371-0497.
