Forest Gems - Native Northwest woods, furnishings, gifts and carvings.
Welcome to Forest Gems Gallery. Forest Gems is owned and operated by Harvey and Susan Windle. Harvey has supported himself exclusively by designing and handcrafting fine woodworking at Seattle's Pike Place Market since 1976, routinely traveling down the coast to find unusual woods at their source. In 1996, we opened Forest Gems in Port Townsend, which offers both Harvey's work and the work of Northwest artists we have met along the way, from the California redwoods, through Oregon myrtlewood country, to our own area in Northwest Washington, where western big leaf maple is found. Plan to visit our gallery and see our unique one-of-a-kind pieces.

Quilcene Arts Gallery - The gallery, owned by the nonprofit Quilcene Artisans Cooperative, resides in the 1930's historic movie theater, giving the building a new life with art. Raku pottery, metal works, painings, paper bowls, chain mail, and sculpture in plastics, jewelry, and more. Qulcene is the northwesternmost village on Hood Canal, lying on the ribbon of US Hwy 101 at the foot of the Olympics.
